Acobay sharing....

As if the social networking sites I am a member of aren't enough, I joined another one...Acobay, it is the newest interactive site for people who shares the same interest.

You can blog, share and review stuff you own, and upload photos for your reviews. The site is easy to navigate and doesn't have complicated buttons and all those.

Acobay is relatively new, they are still building it up but having experienced firsthand the 'share my stuff' part, I guess this site will buzz up soon. It provides user insights on products written about by members, this reviews would surely help someone who is deciding on what to buy as they are written by consumers as well.

There are stuff in various categories that continues to grow in numbers as a result of users writing down their opinion, recommendations and reviews. From cars to toy cars, audio to movies, computers to musical instruments, home stuff to travel its all there, and yes, even your pets has a place there too.

Do you like the comedy series Scrubs? I do, hubby and I always have a good laugh watching it and we'd giggle more when Elliot speaks in German. Anyway, I actually want to write about the nursing scrubs the staff there are wearing.

Money matters...to us not

Until now, money has not been a problem between hubby and I. I remember even when we were still dating we would go dutch at times or he would pay for our lunch then I would pay for dinner later on (we used to work together, sort of). Nothing much has changed, we  keep a single bank account and also one paypal account for all our earnings even if he gives the bigger share. My monthly government allowance goes to (my) school anyway.

Being contented at the moment as well as moderation would be the key. "Hangga't maigsi ang kumot matutong mamaluktot, kung humaba na at lumapad ay saka mag-unat unat," goes the Filipino cliche on spending.

- While the blanket is short, learn how to bend. When it gets bigger and wider,  it is then that you can stretch.

Hubby has definitely changed clothing preferences. He used to wear jeans and shirts as opposed to a more formal looking shirt plus tie and black pants.

Don't let the bed bugs bite!

Bed bugs are not only unsightly, there could be arisk of allergy and disease from their bites. Reason why I make sure that the kids' matresses are well cleaned so they don't have to chance to build up anywhere. Thank God I haven't had problems about them yet. There are anyway many ways now to get rid of bed bugs not just by killing them off but by preventing them from infesting your matresses.

Random - Weekend Snapshot

This sky shot was taken sometime in the middle of the week. Friday and Saturday were rainy days so there wasn't much to do but stay home. Hubby played a lot that time...Guitar Hero, and a couple more games (rainbow six I think and another one I didn't bother  to ask the title of, I just don't like games with too much blood).

The kids played Mario games in their room instead...since I do not allow them to watch too much bloodshed games...I on the other hand finished some opps (yes, trying to raise some funds hehe!).  Cooking most of the time but unfortunately not able to study for the exams. I finished school and now I need to take the test on Wednesday, good thing tomorrow and tuesday are holidays.

At home, I asked dawty to try on the strappy sandals I bought her last year, they were still big then but now they fit her perfectly. You can see this same pair on my other blog's header. We're having too much debates over shoes, dresses and socks. She likes wearing socks with whatever shoes she wears and its a mismatch of course! She even wear socks while sleeping and it does irk me because its too hot, she wouldn't even listen if I tell her that it will make her feet sweaty and smelly...sturkopf (stubborn) I would say! She's starting to dislike wearing dresses too and nicey shoes like that...

Meanwhile the little boy enjoyed playing with wooden puzzles, their Oma brought when she came. He was so ecstatic about these and about the cheese that the Oma brought too. Below photo was taken at breakfast, he was munchin on nothing but cheese and was so happy about it. If asked if he likes the cheese he would enthusiastically answer, "Hmmm yummy! Käse käse  käse!" while jumping.
